A surveyor surveying a boat for me sent me an email stating that the power trim gauge does not read correctly being stuck on 3 degrees and suspects that the sensor is damaged. I am presently unable to contact him. Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay to have this rectified and who near Port Solent could do this for me?

Could replace the sensor for you, however there are 2 types of sender on that engine. Digital or analogue display on dash? The prices are very different for each sender. PM me for an estimate.

[/ QUOTE ]Thanks for the offer. I've already appointed RK Marine of Bursledon for the replacement.
