posting pictures on this forum

Hi there can anyone tell me how or if you can post pictures for identifying make model of boat on the forums i am keen to find info on my fjord day cruiser i dont know exact year so maybe if i could post a picture i could get some info but i for 1 dont know how to add a picture here and 2 if your allowed maybe one of the moderators would be so kind as to help a dowdy newbie out .

Open an account on Photobucket, and upload your pictures from your computer to Photobucket.

When you have uploaded to photobucket, you will small thumbnail images of your pictures. Underneath each image, you will see a box labelled IMG. Click on this, and it will copy the correct url. Then simply paste that url into a post here

It is a lot easier than the tutor you will find if you follow Colmce's link might make you think.

You can re-size using any photo-editor you have, or Microsoft Office Picture Manager or you can use the re-size facility on P'bucket as you upload the pictures. That is rather slow though if you are uploading more than one or two. P'bucket is often slow anyway!

You may find a few changes to P'bucket since the tutor was written. They are constantly changing it.
