Post Rescue \"Guilt\" Money?

We know the RNLI don't/won't charge for rescues, and don't claim salvage. They don't want to put anyone off asking for help for financial reasons. Still, most of us if helped would slip a bob or two in the box, wouldn't we?
But how much? A pecentage of the true cost to the RNLI or a figure based on the value of your boat? How about a note or two depending on when you last called at a cash machine?
What would you give?

the more people to give as subscription - on DD or the way they ask where they get tax back ... the better .......

I spend little time in UK but pay the higher Governor fees as I think its i money well spent and well deserved ....

Not this year,,,,,, but I've been 'assisted' in the past.
Any interest in this years tales of a semi-circumnavigation of part of Scotland? I'll post a short version of "What I Did in the Holidays" if it wouldn't bore you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Re: Semi-circumnav

OK then, but it'll be a part work, 27 weekly chapters at £2 each but the first 5 are free when you buy a gallon of this anti-fouling that I found,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

See "Partly round Scotland",,,,,,,,coming to a computer near you soon,,,,,,,,,,
