Post Office screw up

After making a complaint to PO today, after months of post being delivered to simimlar sounding addresses miles away from me, and nice lady driving round here to deliver, and me likewise, this made me laugh

I read the Reuter's bit and had a chuckle...but it's not really funny is it? At the end of the day it just epitomises the sad standard of English education today. One would have thought that the P.O. would set a basic standard of education as an employment pre-requisite i.e. readin' 'ritin and riffmatic. Just how much time, money and other resources have been wasted because some plonker cannot spell proper!!
