Its been awhile since I was last here and still looking for a boat. Anyway while trawling through boats and outboards I found this ad and thought it was too good to be true so I am posting to warn others - if it is all what it seems then please accept my apologies.

the advert suggests it is lying in Glynedd wales - see here http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/Cruiser/princess-riviera-366/108926#vX2Lijq8lcdWA7Te.97

after a google search I found an expired ad with the same write up and the boat was lying in south Devon http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/Cruiser/princess-riviera-366/108926#vX2Lijq8lcdWA7Te.97

and another search and the actual broker selling the vessel for a more realistic price in Brixham Devon using the same picture http://www.yachtworld.co.uk/boats/1992/Princess-Riviera-366-2844096/United-Kingdom#.VlSPyE0nymQ

like I said if this is genuine then accept my apologies but I personally would rather tread carefully than lose thousands to a fraudster

Unfortunately B&O is full of scam adverts, usually for boats based in the most remote places but at unrealistically low prices.

That boat is currently listed with South West UK boat sales on their site so I would guess your last link is the correct current asking price. I Googled the name and phone number and it would appear that the contact does work for SWUK

Perhaps SWUK bought the boat with a view to relisting and selling?

Well the obvious is there is absolutely no marina in Gwynedd that looks like that photo. But should such a marina appear its probably also fake.

That picture is Brixham.

I'm surprised anyone still uses boats and outboards as from my experience it's full of scams and all you seem to get is enquireys from scammers. There's far better places to buy and sell boats.

I know the boat and a previous owner. It certainly was located in and for sale in Brixham. No idea on current status as the boat isn't on the marina at the moment. A few years ago the boat had been let go, but the guy I knew had spent a good amount of time and money updating and refurbishing it to a good standard. No idea of it's whereabouts currently.
