Forgive probably very ignorant question :-
In/on a 2.4m inflatable such as
http://www.marinescene.co.uk/produc...nflatable-dinghy-with-slatted-floor-free-ppn/ ,I can see symmetrical arrangements with a loner rowing, 3 persons (one rowing or using outboard) and 2 with outboard, but how do you deploy the folk when there are 2, 1 rowing, or a loner with outboard. I find it very difficult to steer my 11foot rigid dinghy under oars with 1 passenger either astern or up front (I lack a forward rowing position) and find the best solution is side-by-side even if the other has never rowed before.
I'm thinking of getting something like the above for a tender, and towing rather than stowing it. I've just disposed of the 1.9 m Plastimo inflatable I bought in a moment of generous madness from a neighbour. It's too ridiculously tiny for 2, yet too bulky and heavy to easily deflate and stow inside a 23' Pandora - mind you, towing it would have made Aida seem enormous (provided that I maintained the illusion by sitting on the cockpit sole)
I'm thinking that I could fit some pneumatic-tyred wheels (wheelbarrow wheels)to the transom on flip-up brackets for single-handing on stoney beaches etc. Any good reason not to?

That dinghy is rated for 3 people. Usually one on the thwart and rowing, one on the bow and the other towards the stern. On your own with an outboard you will have to sit as far forward as possible and still reach the tiller. Plenty of aftermarket transom wheels available from both chandlers and specialists like Polymarine. If you are going this route, consider an airdeck floor. Adds a bit of weight and complication but significantly improves handling and comfort.

Rowing an inflatable has recently been banned by the European court of Human Rights as a cruel and inhuman punishment.

If you want to row get a proper rowboat. Something long and skinny with a little rocker.

If you have to have an inflatable get a little eggbeater outboard.

Seriosly people die in the Caribbean tryiny to row inflateables against the wind.
