Forgive probably very ignorant question :-
In/on a 2.4m inflatable such as
http://www.marinescene.co.uk/produc...nflatable-dinghy-with-slatted-floor-free-ppn/ ,I can see symmetrical arrangements with a loner rowing, 3 persons (one rowing or using outboard) and 2 with outboard, but how do you deploy the folk when there are 2, 1 rowing, or a loner with outboard. I find it very difficult to steer my 11foot rigid dinghy under oars with 1 passenger either astern or up front (I lack a forward rowing position) and find the best solution is side-by-side even if the other has never rowed before.
I'm thinking of getting something like the above for a tender, and towing rather than stowing it. I've just disposed of the 1.9 m Plastimo inflatable I bought in a moment of generous madness from a neighbour. It's too ridiculously tiny for 2, yet too bulky and heavy to easily deflate and stow inside a 23' Pandora - mind you, towing it would have made Aida seem enormous (provided that I maintained the illusion by sitting on the cockpit sole)
I'm thinking that I could fit some pneumatic-tyred wheels (wheelbarrow wheels)to the transom on flip-up brackets for single-handing on stoney beaches etc. Any good reason not to?
