STILL AFLOAT
Well-Known Member
Hi All.
I am replacing a tiny bilge pump, with a Jabsco 36600 proper job.
I got as far as screwing down the new bilge pump, then I realised, both its wires, were black ?
I seem to remember, that 12 volt motors ( Or Any DC Motor ) had a red wire and a black wire, so you knew what was what ?
There is no mention of polarity in the accompanying leaflet, and as far as I can see, there are no markings on the motor either ?
I have to wire the pump, through a float switch, then connect to + and - .
Any explanation, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
