Portsmouth painter?

I need someone to paint the topsides (gunwale to waterline - 28 ft) on a boat I'm in the process of selling ... nothing too difficult ... rub down, undercoat, some filler, topcoat .... Portsmouth area. Can't do it myself as otherwise engaged and it needs doing in a hurry!
Buyer would like it done here and not Croatia which is where the boat's going!
Anyone had a similar job done locally ... if so who please?

hi bud .i am a decorator with 20 years experience and have had boats most my life and have painted a few of them over the years ,if you want me to come and have a look and give you price ,i am in havant so not far away .i painted my last boat a mitchell 31 ,i painted it with one coat of etching primer ,two undercoats and a two-pack top coat .

try Rob Pope, classic marine services, based at wicormarine but has a van so may travel, did an excellent job with good advice and sensible rates for me on dabchick`s underside, saved me a huge bill for gel peeling and epoxy, good guy!

Sam Bingly at Swanwick did a great job for me. Very reasonable rates but as he lives less than 20 yds from the marina he doesn't tend to travel. But if your in a premier it might be worth sailing her round for the job. Pm me and I will give you his number.

Thanks for those replies ... just waiting to hear from my buyer as I suggested it might not be a good idea to paint the topsides right before craning the thing on to a low loader, lashing it down and taking it to Croatia ... I'll get back to you!
