With the two Queen class carriers in harbour but with our boat laid up for the winter are there any commercial harbour tours running in winter?

Was thinking of taking a trip down on Monday. ( Looking for a commercial tour, not fishing for a favour ). Just not familiar with what is normally available.

You could sign up to the RN.

The harbour tours are good but there are some other, shall we say more historic warships to see..I woukd set aside all day for a visit to the UK 's best attraction in my opinion.

Cadet force adult volunteers (even the 'officer' types) are no longer in the 'Services', much as they (particularly IMHO the RAF Cadets) do an worthwhile job. IIRC If that's a recent picture you also need to to get new rank slides.

True, old picture and true we are now RAFAC so we have moved out of the services. However for the first 28 years it was a real commission

that is a little boring.

The Portsmouth Historic Dockyard ticket includes a harbour tour. Try someone like Groupon for an annual pass which gives you unlimited access to all the attractions at the Yard with the exception of Mary Rose. It even includes the waterbus to Gosport for the Submarine Museum. We had a pass and made numerous visits and the price was heavily discounted. There is so much to see. We did the harbour tour a couple of times.
