Portable (aka small) boat printer recommendations

I cannot imagine ever needing a printer on board for the sailing I do, but another reason for laser over inkjet is that laser printouts are as waterproof as any other bit of paper. Your inkjet printout is likely to dissolve if it gets wet.
But surely lasers are only sensible for B&W, which is I suppose all you would need for office-type usage. The colour lasers I have taken apart all used a "transfer belt" which adds to the complexity and weight, and is a unit which wears out and has to be replaced...

I suppose we all have different needs. We like to have everything printed out for clearing in, but also we are home schooling our son and doing that without a printer would be very difficult.
Happy with the B&W laser, means he has more colouring in to do.
