Hi All,
Having received delivery of our new Princess V39 in late September, I have so far managed short day trips in and around the Solent, testing the various capabilities and also getting our dog on board with the idea of a boat!
Having done my day skipper, I feel proficient enough to cope well with most of the demands the sea has to offer, however this summer I would like to do a proper passage to my all time favourite salcombe.
I would welcome any advice anyone could give on this, particularly with regards to the time it will take, where to avoid, where to visit and where would be best for our 42ft cruiser to berth (we prefer marina berth to anchor).
I like to stick to day passages and if that means stopping en route please also let me know where our troop would be welcome, and where isn't for our size or type of cruiser.
Thanks for any advice that can be given!
