Did anyone else hear about a raid by local scrotes to spray paint half a dozen boats ashore at Port Solent?

Apparently happened on Friday night and they picked on new and old alike. I was told the newer boats will clean off OK but the older ones with more worn gel will struggle to get it off.

I feel quite lucky I launched on Friday morning so was sitting in the marina. I've never heard of it there before but do only keep the boat there in the winter so it may go on.

I would have been really pee'd off if my boat had been attacked having just spent several weekends cleaning and polishing.

Cheers

I read elsewhere that some one has had holes drilled in the bottom of their boat between the bilge keels....launched and then wondered where the water was coming from...

Is'nt this the point where we say 'bring back national service'.

How about hanging!
A few years ago they were getting into the car wash, in the now demolished filling station on the A27, and tying nuts and bolts in the brushes.

As someone who went through it, I'm not sure that hanging wouldn't have been preferable. Total waste of time to me, but cheap labour to the RAF.
