From a restaurant window, we saw this boat enter Calais today in sunshine but fairly fierce swell which forced even the ferries to do their manoevres outside the harbour. It seemed quite a blimmin trip, with white horses across the channel from the NE and treacherous entry cause the boat to disappear "beneath" waves even from a raised position and even when fairly well inside the entrance. Broomy style 38-45 footish aft cabin boat, blue canvas, rigid dinghy.
