Port-Saint-Louis-du Rhône, 8th December 2008

Subject: Marc de Schutter & Port Napoleon

Dear Madam/Sir,

We hereby inform you that the Owners and Management of Port Napoleon no longer have any connection with Marc de Schutter.

Marc de Schutter has no authority to undertake any transaction on behalf of Port Napoleon.

In an earlier announcement, we already informed you that the new Director for Port Napoleon is Mr. Maarten Berings and that he took up his function on 19th May 2008.

We are very disappointed to hear that Mr. de Schutter pretends to have a good relationship with Port Napoleon. THE CONTRARY IS TRUE.

We hereby advise you that Port Napoleon accepts no responsibility for any transactions entered into by Mr. de Schutter after his dismissal as Manager of Port Napoleon on May 19th 2008.

For the future and with your support we hope to develop Port Napoleon into a respected enterprise, with clear working relationships, a pleasant environment to stay or work and where the boats are in good hands.

Port Napoleon is aiming for clear relations with clients, suppliers, authorities, professionals and employees.

We hope that you can experience this new vision already in 2009. Please do not hesitate to contact the Director Mr. Maarten Berings on +33 (0)6 22655917 if you require any clarifications or have any questions.

Yours faithfully,
PORT NAPOLEON S.A.

Jan Hamelink Gerard Cok Maarten Berings
CEO-Owner Owner Director

Interesting..............

So why are you posting?

P.Nap is a minefield and lives on rumours. It's a marina with a huge dry storage facility. What is the problem? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Do you want rumour No.1 or No.25? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyway hope you both have a great Christmas, fair winds & calm seas for 2009.

I posted because it was in the public interest.
I am not fuelling any sort of speculation or reviving any rumours - just important for anyone involved in any sort of business agreement or discussion with Port Napoleon to know who they should, and more importantly should not, negotiate with.

Aforementioned gentleman has contacted me several times by email offering me "special deals" to move my boat back to Port Napoleon for the winter........

Can't imagine why you would take umbrage at what I posted - but that is up to you....it's a free world.

Really don't think I took umbrage at all. Sorry if you got that impression.

Very interesting what you say though. I think most people are aware of P.Naps chequered history. Find it difficult to believe that offering 'advantageous rates' would do the present management any favours! Lots of upset punters. Now this could be No.44 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sorry if you felt upset by my reply - all tongue in cheek I assure you.
