Pop ups shot down

Everyone gets the reason for pop ups - it's how websites pay for themselves - but they have come on a bit strong lately.
I've spoken to Kim at HQ and he's agreed that they should be removed from the forums because pop ups that make people pop off elsewhere are counterproductive for all concerned. They'll be gone in the next day or two, I'm told.
The forums have spoken. Power to the people!

I've just installed Pop-Up stopper ... thanks to the poster on that one ..... but my reason was to stop bl---y Renault adverts ..... it was said in my last company that anyone who wanted a Renault Company car should look for another company !!!!

having used POPUP STOPPER for some considerable time I never realised just how intrusive they were. I found out today though when I popped in to the office and went on-line there.
WOW! no wonder you guys are whinging.
Yeh! Yeh! before you say it, the peeps at the office wondered who I was too, one young thing even said to me "excuse me Sir but you can't park there, that's our Chairman's space"

Apart from the inital pop up the fre program has stoped the madness, 15 of them lined up at one stage. You can turn peeping off and stay asleep.
