Margaret hit Wallingford Bridge over the weekend destroying her Goal Posts (or as Mein Fuhrer calls them "Boat Carrying Handles for a giant") and also totally wrecking the screen too. As if this wasn't enough some time later a well meaning person grabbed the controls off her and backed the boat into the bank crumpling up her port bathing platform.
Margaret's boat 'Wight Panther' is a Broom 37 Continental of the 1970s era.
I feel so very sorry for her as she has valiantly carried on boating after losing Colin a couple of years back.

If I remember rightly she won an award for the condition of her boat at the TVR.

Sorry to hear of the accident(s), hope it is soon fixed and that she will carry on boating.

Best wishes to Margaret.

Very sorry to hear that, must have been a shock, send my best to Margaret.

Wallingford was a bit tricky coming down to the rally with the current conditions, its not parallel to the stream so you get an awkward sideways drift as you go through, I wouldn't have wanted to do it with a higher boat than mine.

And if anyone doesn't know Margaret, she's one of the most experienced and competent boat handlers I've seen.
