Pooh Sticks need a new home

We were up there late September/early October, and after the news reports, thought the one thing which should have visibly changed would have been the Didcot cooling towers should have gone, obviously not all of them were demolished.

I expect complaints were received about impaired navigation...

A bit boring - but methinks it's about vehicular access?
on the Dorchester side there's a farm access - so hordes of cars might not be welcome.
On the other (Wittenham) side the access road / local community probably would be even less welcoming. I've not ventured that way as there are no pubs....

But there's a nice big hill with fantastic views, the pub's definitely a long walk though :-)
