Poodle to Poole anyone?

I called them earlier to let them know we're coming over, no mention of deposits or anything but I did promise to keep them updated on numbers. So at the moment..Jcwads, Rafiki, Firefly and myself have confirmed interest with Henryf showing a partial interest. There's no need to commit so just update this thread if you think you may want to join us. The tide at Hurst is predicted to be slack at 08.40 and West going up to about 13.30 . So plenty of time for breakfast.

I'm hoping we will be ok. I've definitely got something on both previous weekends. Will keep the thread informed.

Should be a good little trip.

Henry :)

Very good. :D

Apologies Angele, maybe you could persuade some of me ole mates to come along?

Sorry for the silence but due to the forum being very difficult to work on my phone it's much easier to post when i'm at home with a laptop.
Does anyone have any thoughts at this stage regarding the evening of the 20th? Meal out? Meal on the biggest boat? There's normally live music in one or more pubs on the quay. The Lord Nelson has a Meatloaf tribute it seems..

Easy going. Some pub grub sounds good though.

I would have loved to join you guys (thereby ensuring that no one else need worry about being the slowest). But, sadly, I'm not going to be on the water that weekend. But why not post over on the "light/bright side" what your plans are? I'm sure you'll get a few takers. After all, several were disappointed that Cherbourg didn't come off, so would probably jump at the opportunity. (And a few of them are local to Poole too).

Hello again.
Can I have you give me an idea of numbers for the Saturday evening meal. The Banana Wharf is the only suggestion put forward so if everyone else is happy with that, I'll call them.
Some forecasters are predicting a spell of settled weather, so fingers crossed they're right.

Cheers.

Can confirm will be there, so long as weather behaves!! And so long my boat starts and behaves too as not been on it for a few weeks now!!

The Poole Arms has quite good reviews and is quite your traditional tavern style.

Sounds good , booked it individually but did mention your booking and made a note so hopefully will be close together :encouragement:. Looking forward to a catch up .
