Poodle to Poole anyone? pics now added

We've had our boat about 5 weeks now and completed some low distant passages, Cowes to lymington, Cowes to Bembridge, am now looking at our first trip out of the Solent with yours truly the boss of a mobo. Was wondering if anyone would like to join us for a short cruise in company (or meet us there). I've suggested Poole as it's a shortish trip but equally happy with Weymouth either overnighting or come back the same day . Before the end of the Summer season if poss.

When are you thinking? We could try and muster up some of the East Cowes meet up crew for it? I couldn’t make it and would still like to meet a few of you.

Overnight in Pool sounds cool although we are a bit hampered weekend wise. University visits and a Charity bike ride on 6th October.

I think it gets on the plane about 12 knots. Still playing around with ideal cruising speed.

James, I expect the crud on my props to prevent any fast dashes, so will be cruising at your speed.

well I will clean the hull and my prop but my cruising speed really 11.5knots so will certainly be rear gunner...

This sounds like a lift? I will need to do the same with Rafiki at some point, but haven't decided dates yet. Will be good to see how the Coppercoat has performed.

no lift, we have round bilges and a scrubbis and a prop hatch.. lift will be end of Nov
