Easiest/best way to remove seagull poo from sprayhood and boomcover?
Preferably without having to remove the sprayhood.

I use a blunt flat knife to scrape the big lumps off, then loads of sea water with a plastic panscrub to remove the rest.
The best solution is to store it below when not aboard, as it's easier to wash & scrub the cockpit clean. Even better is to keep the beggars off the boat with humming lines, flappy plastic bags & toy snakes.
