Isnt Japan a touch expensive to be staying long term? It's nice and warm though
One day when lock down hits I'll get google translate out, but for now the morning uncertainty is a lesson for the day![]()

Per diem expenses more than cover living even before wages, though not that much more than London here. Still on site 6 days a week though that will likely change before too long once the infection rate gets going.Isnt Japan a touch expensive to be staying long term?

I seem to remember my ex-wife's mother's favourite perfume was "Afternoon in Bhengazi". ?Similar thing in Africa, we used to call it Essence d’Arm Pit.
The second time I flew in a big white bird was to Saudi Arabia. As they opened the door, that unmistakeable smell of Arab land entered, a hot mixture like sweaty feet, and a background of sweet crude. The agent to meet me failed to show, one of the chaps I met on the plane took pity on me and his parents put me up for the night. Next day we found out that the agent had been to a party and was too pissed to pick me up. My first inkling that Saudi was not as dry as they said! Good old sadiki!I seem to remember my ex-wife's mother's favourite perfume was "Afternoon in Bhengazi". ?
