Just discovered a new 'Wonder Product' has anyone else had any experience of using polywood from Vetus? Have just made a new roof panel for my Dads Nimbus, as the old plywood one was wrotten. Also made a sink/cupboard unit for my own boaty with the offcuts.

Its great, no edges to finish, doesnt need painting, never wrots and can be cut using normal jigsaw, router etc! The results are pretty satisfying.

The uses are limitless!

Re: Hooray for Polywood!!

It looks remarkably like the the white chopping boards you buy for kitchen use... There must be an industrial supplier at cheaper prices - isn't it called LDPE ?? -= Low Density Polyethylene or HDPE plus loads of other variations.
Used to buy something similar for lining bins to allow free flow of powders etc. - but forget the name.

This site is for an industrial company whose products we use for a variety of purposes on board ship.
