I'm on a buoy in fowey and directly behind the boat is the slipway in to Polruan boatyard. There's an oil boom deployed in the water and I wondered why and then I saw that the mobile crane has fallen off the quayside and gone head first in the water. The jib is bent and resting in the quayside, the crane is pretty much entirely submerged. I guess getting a bigger crane in to lift it out is going to be quite a challenge if not impossible. Hope nobody was hurt when it went in.
