Ok Ok I know it’s an appalling pun but this is the only opportunity I’ll get to use it. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Spent far too much time playing with new boat and neglected the old girl so decided to bite the bullet and let her go. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I’d priced her to sell but thought I’d have to spend a couple of days in the yard giving her a little TLC to tidy her up and make her more presentable. Didn't need to as I received and accepted an offer for her “as seen” within three days of her being advertised. Well done Preston Marina.

Pollyanna was my first boat and has been very forgiving in helping me to get from clueless newbie to more experienced (and some say still clueless) skipper. Didn’t think I’d be quite so sad to see her go but you can’t help remember all the happy times and great experiences had with her. Also a few hair-raising once which I must share with you some day.
Well good luck to the new owner and I hope he has as much fun as I did.

Bob

I'm lucky that my first boat is moored only a couple of hundred yards from mine and ashore during the winter at the same yard.

I get to chat to the new owner and 'keep an eye on her'
