<font color=blue>Can any one reccommend a firm that will come and clean/polish my boat for me? Naturally they need be within easy access of the Thames.
Alternatively If the Forum wishes to get up a Cleaning Party to get my boat pristine for the season, I will supply free teas and hotdogs.

<font color=blue>Coffee too then - but we don't want 'veggies' they suffer too much with wind from the mulch that is rotting in their innards.

Re: Polishing? Leering ?

Do the "volunteers" get to fondle any of the crumpet always to be found on the sun deck of big expensive boats like yours.
I know this to be a fact because i have seen the pictures in MB&Yachting and they all feature at least 2 scantily clad females per metre./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

If you would be good enough to find the crumpet on my boat, you can not only sample it, but even have a whole one. Then just remind me where it is............./forums/images/icons/smile.gif

<font color=blue>We can always try and convince Leyton & TR7v6 to wear bikinis and you can fondle them.

<font color=blue>I had thought of that James but I saw a job one had done on a Crown last year and I was singularly underwhelmed by what they had done. It look like no more that a job some boy scouts would do for a fiver.

You'll just have to either bring your boat to Florida or import a polisher, Byron. It's big business here and they do a very good job, sometimes employing scantily clad women. Well, it does get pretty hot in summer and it's hard work even with 'lectric tools!

Penton Hook Marine Sales use a guy who works independently. Can't remember his name offhand but he did a reasonable job for me. I always think this kind of work's a bit pricey, but hey, what would I charge if somebody asked me to polish their boat?!

I was asked 400 tokens whilst the boat was in the shed for other reasons. I refused and said it was a job I could do my self. Not disapointed. In the week we got through maybe a third of the work. Rain and play time put payed to the rest. I usually find that if I try hard. I can nearly but not quite, get round the whole boat once a year.

Try Richard and Jeannie.

Their son Andrew has mates in the Car Valeting game.
I expect they could use the cash.

Should be about £500 for a wealthy chap like you !
Seriously - it cost me £300 to have mine done in Holland a couple of years ago, and don't think that's bad.
Let's face it, if it was easy you would do it yourself !!
