about to buy a polisher and not sure which colour polishing sponge is best for using with farecla for my grp hull? choice of white , blue or red - each of which apparently best for different purposes but none of them mention polishing grp specifically - any one know please which to use - thanks

I had a blue one which is wearing out. I bought it when I needed to cut through the chalky crud on the grp. I recently bought the red one which is supposed to be the polishing one. The blue one seems to be more efficient at removing the residue of scratches, the red better at the final polish!

That is the sander/polisher I bought (Sillverline orange colour one) and have used to sand the inside of hull where I am going to be reinforcing it with epoxy and cloth.
It can be used at speeds between 0 rpm to 1800rpm, even though it says 600-1800, great tool, but cant be bought direct from silverline, I got mine through my local iron mongers in Glasgow, LSK supplies. and got it cheaper than it is on ebay for, also got 1 of each colour sponge, mind it comes with a velcro backing disc and a real lambs wool bonnet and spare set of brushes.
