One sunny day in St MArtine
arrived TCm
PAra, stingo and LJS came too
cos in an aeroplane they flew
'twas a new catamaran to collect
not one old and awfie bollocked
so off in it they went
to the isle with a bottom right corner called Kent
the sails were fine
and so was the wine
so it got finished
the crew got pished
and never fished
so they ate some pies
mainly by Stigo I surmise
and arrived in the Azores
and remembered their mores
so did'nt do the whores
and ended up in Falmouth

Friday\'s fillip

THe sky is blue
the sea is too
apart from the bits of white
in both .. leading to the conclusion
amidst the decks of confusion
that tomorrow the weather will be shite

Re: Friday\'s fillip

Two hulls or not two hulls that is the question
Whether to withstand the slings and arrows of Scottish bards
Or to give, and in giving pass that point of no return
And end up taking the boat to Plymouth and there find foul.

Re: Friday\'s fillip

Stingo boarded TCM's ship; now on the peak,
Now in the waist, the deck, in every cabin,
He flamed amazement: sometime he'd divide,
And fart in many places; on the topmast,
The yards and bowsprit, would he flame distinctly,
Then meet and join. Jove's lightnings, the precursors
O' the dreadful thunder-claps, more momentary
And sight-outrunning were not; the fire and cracks
Of sulphurous roaring the most mighty Neptune
Seem to besiege and make his bold waves tremble,
Yea, his dread trident shake.

T'was on the good ship Mojomo
Fray bentos washed down with mohitos
Then Para the mate would drive it straight
When no one could give a fokero..

A pleasure dome

In St Martin did Tee Cee Emm
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where ralph the sacred FB, ran
Through lockers measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.
So twice five miles of belching sound
With walls and towers thus flattened down:
And there were toerails bright with sinuous rills
Where blossomed many a booze driven pee;
And here were sailors ancient as the hills,
Varnishing sunny spots of joinery.

With apologies to Coleridge, please feel free to add the remaining verses....

Re: A pleasure dome

But oh! that deep and nauseous bilge which slanted
Through the twin hulls athwart a Fablon cover!
A savage place! as wretched and encrusted
As e'er beneath a holding tank was haunted
By Jimi wailing for his broken rudder!
And from this bilge, with ceaseless turmoil seething,
As if the crew in Y-front pants were breathing,
A mighty fish-pie momently was forced:
Amid whose swift half-intermitted burst
Huge fragments fluttered like a knackered sail,
Or mangled portions of the Daily Mail:
And 'mid these filthy rags at once and ever
It flung up momently the Hamble river.
Five miles meandering with bugger-all notion
Of where the Hell the sacred river ran,
They reached a tavern slack-jawed, pale and wan,
And sank, in rapid gulps, a soothing potion:
And 'mid this tumult Stingo heard from far
A Yorkshire voice cry “Who’s nicked ‘t fookin’ car?

Next, please!

Re: Oi, stop larkin about

They cheer you up, stingo and tome,
They may not mean to, but they do,
They fill you with their thoughts of home,
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were cheered up in their turn,
By fools in forum cyberspace,
Who half the time were soppy-stern,
And half completely off their face.

Man hands on good cheer to man,
It deepens like a coastal shelf,
Get in as early as you can,
And don't have any regrets yourself.
