I used to have a copy of a poem laminated on a credit card sized keep sake, purchased from St Gennys church near Bude. Untill that is some low life nicked my car a few years ago along with the contents of my glove box. Now I am not religeous at all, however it was soon after the death of my father and put a lot of things into perspective for me. I have looked in vain to replace it for years but to no avail I even returned to the place of puschase but they no longer had it. So I wonder if anyone knows it. The main gist of it was that death was like a ship sailing from a harbour as the people on that harbour lost site of it as it went over the horizon others in another port saw it and welcomed it. You get the idea I am sure. Written if memory serves me correct by a Vicar or Monk type last century ish. I know its not much to go on and its been a while so I cannot remember much more but I bet one or more of you can lay your hands on it.
Thanks in advance of a reply regards - Ian
