It's taken 14 months, but she's virtually ready to go back on the water (just some trim to go)!
A somewhat extensive refit including, new front deck, new roof, new stbd quarter hull panels extending halfway down her length, numerous hull planks and ribs replaced, the entire hull below the waterline clad with epoxy and fibreglass (new deck and cabin roof also clad). Fixed windows replaced, and the non-standard 'rabbit-hutch' style upper cabin top removed and replaced with a low polycarbonate spray screen, with existing canvas cover modified to suit!
Thankfully the engine and outdrive needed little more than a thorough service and anodes.
Lots of marine ply, epoxy, paint and more sanding than we ever want to experience again in this lifetime - but the finished product was worth the effort (not to mention the sausage rolls and tea!)
Estimated 800 man-hours, and approx £3k spent- but isn't she pretty!
