Anyone want their boat checked ?? I will be there This afternoon today if you want me to have a look . Many fingers have broken away recently and iffy ones have had extra ropes to take the strain . Seems as if things are not as they should be .

Don’t worry – we have teams of Plymouth Yacht Haven staff out 24/7 checking boats, lines and fenders. Thankfully, we’ve had no significant damage to boats either afloat or ashore here over the last few weeks of atrocious weather and have been very sheltered from the prevailing winds. We have been going for a belt and braces approach – moving boats off any potentially vulnerable finger pontoons and then strapping up the fingers with lines to reduce the strain on them. If anyone would like an update on their own boat, just give us a call on 01752 404231, day or night – we will have checked your boat within the last hour or two!

Many thanks for that, most reassuring!
