Plymouth Sound Today, sailing in circles!

About 3pm today, I had to round in circles just to beat back into mountbatten. Luckily the tide was starting to come in which sucked us back to mountbatten. on one course, I gybed 3 times and tacked twice!

My god it was an awesome sail though, first time in the 505 with a nice breeze and someone on trapeze!

We had a cracking sail back into PYH from the Yealm at lunchtime
I have sailed in the Yealm close hauled on starboard tack & passed another yacht going in the opposite direction on the same tack

If someone could point out which way was downwind, I might have!

not got the spinnaker sorted yet, which was a shame as the other 505 I was sailing against was flying away from me
