Where do you see them on the north coast? The water always seems a bit murky up towards Brean / Weston but I don't suppose that's much of a problem.

In short, around Lundy. Never failed to see them when in that area. Once between Lundy and Hartland Point ( about 200 on that occasion), twice between Lundy and Milford Haven and twice more when just visiting Lundy and going around the Island.
