Hi,
I have a plumbing question.. The galley tap (old style mixer with separate hot and cold) has stripped the spline on the taps so it's not easy to operate.. I want to replace it with a more modern mixer tap.. Problem is I am not very good with plumbing, far better at electrics..
Boat is a 2002 Hunter 326 and the pipe work is a blue and red plastic pipe, I haven't been able to visit the boat for an exact measurement or to look for any printing on the pipe to give a clue whether it's metric or imperial because the marina is closed at the moment..
Questions
1) Can I replace it with a standard kitchen style tap or do I need a "boat" tap?
2) Where would be the best place to get whatever fittings are needed to connect the new tap to the red and blue pipes?
