My old ( now obsolete ) Eberspacher is not working and no parts are available so im going down the route of central heating type with small radiators.
has anyone done this to their boat and can offer advice please.

what i have ( all new)
Wabasto TOP C 5kw diesel water heater.
ASAP hotspot a single coil 30ltr calorifier.
which is going to supply hot water to shower and to radiators. 4 or 5 max
I have all the hep 20 pipework and fittings to go.520130.jpg

If you already have the ducting etc. for an Eber, why not just replace it with the equivalent modern Eber/ Planar/ Chinese heater?

I could do i suppose but i prefere a hot water system to be honest and as my boat didn't have a calorifier from engine water ( just an old, now removed gas heater) i thought this would kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

also the old heater must have been fitted before the engines i can see no way to get at it without cutting out the flooring above. cant even see how it would have been able to get serviced!

I would rather stick a knitting needle in my eye that use a cheap Chinese heater.
