Plug and play WiFi

Is there an easy to use (and I mean easy) Plug and play 4g WiFi unit I can use to stream amazon prime etc whilst on the boat. I want to plug it into the smart tv and then stream via the inbuilt tv apps.
I use my iPhone at present but even that is not the best. And I’d rather have it as a separate cost. Thanks

Judging from the OP's question, I think that Chromecast is a bit complicated.
You have to realise that you are controlling a streaming device using a mobile phone and not actually streaming via of from the phone.
It takes a bit of getting your head round.

I don't use one but why not just an Amazon Firestick.
He would be accessing his Amazon Prime using an Amazon device.

My TV has built in Amazon prime, YouTube, Netflix etc etc. No need to use a stick or chrome cast (I think). Just need to connect tv to the WiFi device.

The chromecast is handy to compliment his smart tv. For example mirror display. So if he wants to have the tv show navigation or web apps or any other app he has on his phone not available to the smart tv. In addition when bandwidth is poor or low or not cost effective he can mirror his phone a pre downloaded film. A netflix film downloaded via mobile is about 400MB, the tv for the same film will consume over 2GB. Dont ask me why, the resolution on a phone is superior to that on a tv but there you go. The two compliment each other. My kids and his kid probably too love to mirror mobile online games to the tv.
