I don't think there's much to choose between the brands these days. Get one with 2 batteries, and ideally a fast charger. I have a Bosch.
I bought a Bosch with a single 4Ah battery. It's not bulky or heavy but its capacity is enormous - I only rarely see the charge level diminish from its maximum of three, to two. I paid £99.95 at Screwfix. I have noticed subsequently that the identical drill is often available for significantly more money with two batteries, whose combined output is lower than my single battery. For this reason I'd definitely go with the single-battery option.
And the case is exactly the right thickness to make a footrest for my wife when seated in our motorhome. Which is where it currently lies.
Take care what you tell the world, Vyv - "No tools left in this vehicle overnight".
The case is a serious point though, and one where cheaper tools may well fall down. My Bosch's case is properly rugged and holds almost all the tools I ever need to carry about. Drills are often sold 'naked', without battery or charger or case. If you already have a tool of the same voltage from the same manufacturer during the same production period, it may well be that you can safely save the cost of another battery and charger, which is great. But not having the purpose-built case will more likely prove to be a pain for as long you own the drill.
