a few weeks a go a helpfull forumite suggested that i put the outer sheeth of a larger rope round some dyneema rope to stop it slipping in the rope clutch. it works a treat, but how do i fix the end ?
i have put two layers of whipping on the dynema to make it a bit thicker just before the part covered by the outer sheeth, the whipped the end of the outer sheeth.
if it's pulled hard through the turning block at the foot of the mast, the whipping on the end of the outer sheething pulls loose, suggestion gratefully received
