As i'll be booting one of these birds into the oven shortly, I was thinking how often when on a collision course with a merchantman that shortly after taking avoiding action (c 10-20 cables away) that the merchantman also changes course .. in the way of things, the two course alterations often put you back on a collision course.

I wonder if there are these thoughts going thro' the mind of the merchantman "well, lets be kind to the wafi as he's shown us consideration" ... festive spirit, eh?

bog orf, old trout ... my bird's still doing 'er stuff in farmer mac's backyard getting plump and avoiding too much exercise ... hmmm ... last time i do a serious thread that is vitally important to the health and well-being of sailors etc etc ...

axshally i'm going to try the delia recipe (she who makes decent pies at carrow road) which involves superheating the oven and then using a glass-blowers mandrel to get the b*gger in without exploding the stuffing ....
