Plastimo Neptune 2000 Gas Connection Help?

Can anyone tell me what the gas connection consists of. My SH one has a tail of 8 or 10mm copper or thereabouts with a compression nut and olive. All well and good but there is also a screw with a washer blanking off another connection at right angles to the tail going into the cooker. Was this the remains of a stop tap or what? If it's not clear I'll follow up with a picture.

thats sounds like the pressure test point.
Just leave it there.
If your boat requires Boat Safety examination the examiner will test here ... needs to be accessible of course

Agreed sounds like a pressure test point.

The pipe on ours is 720mm armoured with an 8mm spigot at each end.
BTW if the cooker is gimballed it can help to support the pipe with a plastic clip otherwise it tends to get caught underneath.
