Just bought a second hand Plastimo deck hatch off e bay (as a bit of a punt really as the dimensions looked exactly the same as my crazed existing hatch). It arrived and the housing into which the hatch fits is bent leaving a half inch gap in the middle of the hatch when closed. There is a chance when screwed to the deck the frame will 'straighten out', but getting anything to seal on a boat is tough - what are the chances with this thing?
