Plastimo furling plastic liner puzzle

I have an elderly plastimo furling system relating to a 406s which has a damaged pvc liner internal diameter of forestay 7mm for a 5-6mm luff tape. I have managed to get this out of the system and ordered a new liner as per the parts number in the catalogue from Seateach, which has arrived and appears to be much larger (internal diameter 12mm) and 10-12mm lufftape . Do the liners now differing sizes now since the newer systems came on stream? or do we think its an ordering cock-up?
Anyone got a spare smaller liner?

Have they sent you the wrong ones? It sounds like they may be for the larger models which can take larger dia luffs.

It sounds as though they have supplied the wrong parts But for what I have no idea.

Give them a ring but if you get the GOG call back again at another time. Everyone else is very helpful.

Sounds like it's for a 609 or 910. The number scheme identifies size range of gear 4-6mm, 6-9mm & 9-10mm.

Plastimo Furling

I have the manual which came with my recently purchased 609S system. The 3 smaller systems, 406, 609, and 811 all use the same foil and pvc liners. The part number for the pvc liner is 26179.

Edit - should have said - all 3 single groove units are designed for 4 to 7mm forestay, and 6.5mm luffrope.
