Plastimo Folding Cargo Boom

Does anyone have any experience of these, build quuality etc.

Also how far does the boom stick out, I cant seem t find any dimensions.

I am thinking this may provide a soloution to getting my dog onboard both from dinghy and when dried out. Any opinions?
