Following my recent do I/don't I thread, I changed my fresh water tank for a triangular, flexible Plastimo job. So far, so good! It's much more secure, does not leak half of it's contents into the bilge giving me premature heart failure, and has almost tripled my capcity.
But a daft question...the inlet and outlet are both on the same side, so I've installed them on the bottom, so gravity can do it's thing. Obviously, the jubilee clips have been wrapped in miles of gaffa tape to avoid any chafe issues, but I do wonder if it could be installed the other way up, with the pipes at the top. Does a humble whale galley pump have enough "suck" to be able to draw the water out of the top, or am I going to always have about 30% of the water that cannot be used?
Thanks!
