I’ve got these fitted on my Sunseeker and Williams. They take a standard garden hose male hose fitting.Good afternoon all,
Can anybody can point me in the right direction for the connector that fits into this Plastimo deck wash socket, ideally online at a sensible price.
Thanks
Thanks DougH, I did try that including lubrication the stainless balls but could not the standard garden type fitting to work. I may try a metal garden type connector rather than plasticI’ve got these fitted on my Sunseeker and Williams. They take a standard garden hose male hose fitting.
If you look into the hole on the fitting above you will see about 6 small balls that locate on the male fitting.
These can seize a little and make it difficult to accept the hose fitting. Apply a little freeing oil and work the male fitting an all will be fine.

I use Hoselock Double Male Connectors from any gar den centre.
Peter, that’s what you are supposed to do as stated in the manufacturers leaflet. We have that same fitting I think. With ours I find pressing in the outer ring when pushing the standard hose adaptor in (as well as when removing the hose which is when you are meant to push in the outer ring) normally does the trick.
Probably why that works then...I tend not to read the instructions much ;-)Peter, that’s what you are supposed to do as stated in the manufacturers leaflet.

Thanks all, I just need the opportunity to try a good quality fitting now when I'm back out on the boatI've found the "standard" does vary a bit, particularly with cheaper fittings. A decent quality metal coupling is a good idea.
