Plastimo deck shower mixer tap cartridge

Alas, despite a drain down, or so I thought, my Plastimo deck shower tap did not make it through the winter and the mixer cartridge has cracked.
Rather than fork out £99 for a whole new mixer tap, does anyone know if I can get a replacement cartridge for the insides?
Penguin do cartridges but I could not see one that looked the same.

Did you ever get sorted with your mixer tap.

I have a similar issue, but not sure if mine is a Plastimo unit (Fitted to my 2006 Bavaria)

Have opened mine up and it looks like a little ceramic disc has failed.

I ended up buying a new mixer tap then realised tha penguin do the plastic cartridge that fits inside the stainless body. Try googling Barka Penguin and compare their pics of cartridges with yours.

Big thumbs up for Barka Penguin. Replacement mixer tap cartridge on it's way, at a fraction of the cost of a new tap.

Their website (http://www.penguineng.com/tapsshowers.html) lists just about anything that you could need.

No connection to them, just a very satisfied customer
