Our boat has a Plastimo 2050 cooker which we imagine was fitted by previous German owners - I mention that because I suspect the 2050 may be a German model.
Problem is - it will not get hot - manages equivalent of gas mark 3 at most.
Flame looks ok and is not turning itself down prematurely.
Manual says it is for use with LPG - goes on to say at 50mbar for propane but does not mention butane (Camping Gaz) which we use.
I have read that in Germany butane is regulated to 50mbar rather than 30mbar which is standard most other places.
Could this be the cause of our problem? Anyone else out there got a 2050? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks - Rick
