Many thanks for all the input. Believe that I shall go for Marelon, unless I can find some industrial stuff. I do not consider the fire risk very high, considering that the boat is made of GRP. OK if a fire did rage, the boat may burn to the waterline & still remain afloat, but think we are nit picking here.
While stainless may be very nice, the main reason for going with plastic is lack of electrolytic problems. So far my boat is completely free of this, and has no anodes/cathodes or earth wiring twixt any of the metal components. Given that it is 30+, and the previous prop was virtually unmarked when it was replaced, this is a situation that I wish to continue for as long as possible.
Plastic fantastic for me.
