Beware! Plastic props are attractively inexpensive and the blades are usually easily replaced when damaged BUT if you hit something all the blades can be knocked off the hub, leaving you with no power. Hitting something with a metal prop may be more expensive to repair but you do tend to have something left to push you home.

I have two PIRANAHA props - I find them ideal - easy to change and performance is no noticeably different. I'm glad I change them - got them off ebay second had two 15x19's for less then 100 quid
