I have plastic petrol tank in my Four Winns that is leaking vapour.

I have put the tank under some pressure and been around all fittings with soapy water to no avail.

There are no visible signs of leakage only fumes, this is a real concern as I am worried about explosions.

Does anyone know of a company on the south coast where I can get the tank proporly tested/repaired.

Thanks

Paul

Are you sure it's the tank? could be fuel lines or carb leak. You need to look for other clues. Is the floor under the tank wet? Are the hoses wet? Is there petrol puddling in the hollows of the inlet manifold, or wet around carb(s)?Fuel pump?Fuel filters?

You need to go through entire fuel system as fumes will move around from their source, and may misslead you..
